The town is safe, friendly, hassle free and there is always something worth doing; whether you are here one afternoon, a week or a year.
Bratislava is definitely worth a visit if you expect to see something new and do not expect much comfort or super tourist attractions like in Western Europe.
Before visiting the city, understand that it was never meant to be a capital city and not built as one (unlike Prague, Budapest, etc.).
