Lexington

History buffs will enjoy exploring why Lexington has had its cultural reputation since the early 1800s. Known as the “Horse Capital of the World”, it is the heart of the state’s Bluegrass region.
Notable places in the city include Kentucky Horse Park, The Red Mile and Keeneland Racecourse, Rupp Arena, Transylvania University, University of Kentucky and Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
