Timișoara

Timișoara has lots of parks and its own botanical garden. However, the natural areas around the city are more exciting and you can spot the most spectacular wildlife in the region. A longer walk of about two and a half hours takes you to Cheile Nerei, one of the most beautiful national parks in Romania. Nicknamed “Little Vienna” or “Flower City”, the city is known for its large number of historical monuments and its 36 parks and green areas. Together with Oradea, Timișoara is part of the Art Nouveau European Route.
